This life-size paper sculpture dog has very thinly cut paper fur.

The surprise about this dog is that you get to decide if you’d like him to be displayed with his tongue sticking out slightly or, if you prefer to show off this paper sculpted dog with no tongue.

Marty’s tongue is actually removable! So you get to decide how you would like to display this life sized friendly paper sculpted dog. Or, perhaps you would like to change up his expression from time to time which could be a very fun talking piece.

Marty is an authentic paper sculpture made from the finest papers and is made entirely of paper, adhesives and paint. There are no wires or other structural elements hidden inside.

In the Jungle - A 3D Paper Sculpture Scene

This 3D iguana looks like he is right at home inside his natural jungle habitat. Melinda Fabian created this textured green iguana out of paper that was sculpted, and then painted in watercolor and gouache. There are even a couple of 3D paper ants marching across a tree branch and lots of layers of painted leaves in greens, yellows and oranges so this iguana can feel like he is in his own jungle.

Hours of experimentation and meticulous work went into creating this one-of-a-kind paper sculpted iguana. Just to get the desired textures in his coat took countless hours. Many different tools and techniques were used to create the variety of textures you see in this iguana.

“They Said There'd Be Pears!” This lizard is looking a little confused as he is searching for some pears, not realizing the name of this sharp spiky cactus plant is actually a prickly pear plant.

On the Rocks - 3D Paper Sculpted Lizard On the Rocks

After visiting Zion National Park in Utah, Melinda Fabian was inspired to create On the Rocks — a 3D paper sculpture illustration depicting a life-like lizard climbing up a rock wall. I wonder where he is headed. Are there other critters living behind the rocks? Looks like this lizard is going to investigate what is hiding behind those flowers.

On the Rocks is made out of paper that has been painted in watercolor and gouache.

"Carryout Desert"

“Carryout Desert” is a fun, whimsical paper sculpture featuring a team of ants carrying out a banana split! Did you notice the one ant is on the look out using a pair of banana binoculars? The queen ant with her crown is proudly standing on top of the whipped cream holding onto a bunch of bananas. There are lots of bananas and ice cream cones cut out of the doily and also bananas sprinkles on the walls! So many bananas!

This piece is a part of the BananaRama Exhibition in Bethlehem, PA at the banana factory. This is the last exhibition before they start renovations.
